How and when do I get paid?

How exactly does the second tier work?
Say you refer B, and B refers C. On C's purchases, B earns the full 40% / 1% as if C were their own referral — and you earn an override on top: 8% of C's first purchase, then 0.01% of everything C spends after. It stops at two levels: if C goes on to refer D, B earns the override on D and you earn nothing from D.
Does it cost anything to join?

What if my referral asks for a refund?
